Q. Who created this website?
A. This website was created by alumni of the Class of 1984 of South Peace Sr. Secondary School
Q. Can other classes of SPSSS use this website?
A. The website design can support students from other classes. If the year for your class does not appear in the profile creation page please contact admin@spsss.com to get your class set up.
Q. How do I get photos posted in the photo gallery?
A. Currently the photo gallery does allow for anonymous posting of photos. To have photos posted, please email them to admin@spsss.com please include a short description of what the photo represents, and indicate which class year the photo is for.
Q. I have noticed an error on the website or in a profile, how can I get it fixed?
A. Please send an email with the details of the error to admin@spsss.com and let us know. We will try to get the error corrected ASAP.
Q. Isn't this just all the same stuff as on other websites like Classmates.com?
A. Classmates.com, Reunion.com, and other similar sites serve a very broad audience, and require membership and a members fee in order to access details about individual profiles (like their contact information for example). SPSSS.com was created for South Peace Sr. Secondary students only, and requires no fees or membership.
Q. If I put my email address in here won't I just get a lot of spam?
A. No, although your email address is readable by you, spammers harvest emails using programs that load the page source and scan for patterns that look like email addresses. All email address on this website are specially encoded in the page source to make them look like garbage to a harvester, but still allow them to be readable by humans. If it makes you feel safer, my email is listed, and I hate spammers as much as anyone...
Q. I have a question that is not answered here, how do I get it answered?
A. Send your question in an email to admin@spsss.com and we will try to get an answer posted as soon as possible.
